The Hokkaido sea scallop, is the Japanese scallop, Patinopecten yessoensis. Hokkaido scallops are famous for their delicious flavour as sashimi. These Pacific Ocean scallops are more tender, sweeter and creamier compared to Atlantic sea scallops.
